You won't have the story of your character, no, no, no, but the story of several characters around you. Legend of mana is the story of a world, of Fa'diel. And mind you, not feel-good as in the story is feel-good. It is a feel-good game that I keep coming back to. maybe, like, 3-400 hours in my whole life. I cannot tell you how many hours I put in this game- probably in the hundreds. It's just that it's the story of a world, rather than the story of your character.Īlso, if you end up liking it, Egglia for mobile is very similar.

Don't let this fool you into thinking the story is shallow or bad it's one of the strongest I've experienced in a game. Something semi-related to keep in mind is that the story is presented more as a set of interconnected short stories than a single overarching plot as with most games. It's a very laid back game don't stress about any aspect. The only thing to be aware of is that with the 3 main storylines, it is possible to accidentally miss a few of the story beats.but even if you do, it's no big deal. It's more or less an open world game with very minimal pressure to do everything/anything. I would recommend just exploring the game and playing with the aspects you find personally appealing. Legend of Mana is my favorite game! As others have said, it may be good that you haven't played other Mana games before, as you won't bring those expectations in with you.
